Hackathon was held at free university with beeline's support

“Entirely Different Hackathon” is organized by Youth Union - EUhack, which manages technology-related projects and aims at promoting youth development. Young engineers, programming specialists, developers and designers, who united together around one idea - to create an innovative product or develop existing ones, traditionally participated in the marathon.

“Entirely Different Hackathon” was conducted in a different format and lasted about 27 hours instead of 48 hours. During this time, the participants have elaborated an idea, the way of its implementation and presented it before the jury. The groups participating in the final competition were given a task to implement their own ideas, create prototypes and to exhibit them as presentation. The first phase of Hackathon was held on June 29-30 and 180 participants were involved in it. The 11 finalists appeared before the jury on 14th of July and shared 3 award-winning places:

  • The group Wave Tech ranked first for creating gloves, which enables a blind man to dial and send a message independently;
  • The group Cash Flow ranked second. They created App and website, which aims at increasing the tourists number and offering them innovative services in Georgia;
  • The group Coco ranked third for developing App, which offers online consultation to persons interested in plant growing and plant cultivation.
